FH performances in a custom Impect profile. They were one of the worst teams through May, but have adjusted and been one of the best teams since June.

The Icelandic Besta deild’s FH (full name Fimleikafélag Hafnarfjarðar) have had a tale of two halves for their season thus far. FH went winless in their first 9 games but are now unbeaten in their last 9, sitting 10th (of 12 teams) after 18 matches.

They are 5 points behind 6th with 4 games to go before the league splits into a final round amongst the top & bottom 6. It will still be difficult to reach the top 6, but it does seem like relegation may be off the cards now after their turnaround.

FH started off the season by going 0-2-7, scoring 12 and conceding 26. But now they’ve gone 3-6-0, scoring 10 and conceding just 6. We can see that the biggest difference seems to be on the defensive side of things. They’ve essentially turned their draws into wins and losses into draws. FH still struggle to score (and win), but they’ve certainly shored up their defense around the start of June.
